About a month ago, I bought a Windows Phone (the Samsung Focus provided by Rogers). I was surprised not to find much documentation inside the box. Yes the phone is very intuitive but I was feeling I was missing important tips.

I then start reading a Microsoft Press book titled “Plain & Simple – Windows Phone 7” from Michael Stroh (ISBN 978-0-7356-4342-0).

It won’t take you long to go through as this book is very illustrated with screenshots to show you the exact steps. It is very colourful. It has a total of 16 relatively short chapters each one fully dedicated to a single topic (which ease the job if you want to go back to a particular subject).

If you want my .02$ opinion, this book should have been bundled in the box!
